Argumentative essay reflection

Gathering information for this paper was more difficult than I had anticipated it would be. There are many journals written about transplanting organs but most were heavily specified towards a specific disease that didn’t have anything to do with my article. Finding peer reviewed journals about inmate health standards in the modern times seemed like it wouldn’t be too hard either but I was wrong about that too. Many of them come up about inmate HIV and Aids, making it difficult to find out the average health for an organ donor in prison. Getting the specific statistics I needed required a search and a half, often grinding through articles that had a similar premise just find something I needed.
What I did find was very compelling arguments on both sides, too many in fact that were so detailed I can’t possibly cover them all. Every pro and con has layer upon layer to consider and each layer just branches off into a new problem or question. Choosing a side here wasn’t so clean cut like some other arguments and even now after choosing a side I’m still wondering. There is so much potential to do good here but there are an innumerable amount of ethical questions, laws and logistics just to get past.
