Thesis: For decades men and women have competed in separate leagues within sports due to perceived differences in physiology but in our new society where equality is at the forefront, would there be any problems if men and women compete against one another.?

Paragraph 1: Sports within our society in both past and present, how it has grown and become structured as well as the general rules that fall over all of them.
Paragraph 2: Women and sports both past and present starting from the introduction of women into the olympics and their inclusion in the independent sports of today
Paragraph 3: Advances in equality related to sports over the decades, starting with women fighting to be included in sports, to different races competing together.
Paragraph 4: Issues of equality today, the representation of gays within sports as well as transgender athletes.
Paragraph 5: The issue of transgender athletes in sports, the genetic makeup of transgender athletes and how it can lead to unfair advantages when participating in their transitioned leagues.
Paragraph 6: The physiological differences between men and women, what each gender specializes in and how that relates to sports.
Paragraph 7: How these will result in gender domination in certain sports and gender exclusion in others.
Paragraph 8: Possible harmful repercussions from mixed gender contact sports, instances where we are seeing it today.
Paragraph 9: Possible benefits of allowing mixed gender sports.
Paragraph 10: Ultimately would mixed gender sports be beneficial as well as fair?
